The jewelry pieces in Irina’s Metal Clay Collection for Beaders by Irina Miech are truly wearable works of art. Her mix of textures, many obtained from using natural materials, combined with delicate accent features is amazing.  The pieces Irina Miech shares are some of her favorite projects from the past seven years and I can see why they are among her favorites; there is not a single design in the book that I wouldn’t be thrilled to wear.
As a polymer clay artist who enjoys making jewelry and has long been intrigued by the options metal clay might bring, I found this book to be incredibly inspiring. The tools and materials required for metal clay work are not inexpensive – but a wide range of options do exist and after doing some investigating, I believe there is a price range available for almost anyone wishing to delve into this art form. After seeing the amazing results that can be achieved at even a beginner level, I believe it would be an incredible art form to learn and well worth the investment in materials.
Irinas Metal Clay Collection 1Irina’s Metal Clay Collection for Beaders includes three sections of assorted jewelry projects – beginner, intermediate and advanced. The projects each category are all amazing.    Multiple full-color step out photos, and well written instructions guide the reader through recreating the pieces.
