When contacted by Ohuhu about reviewing their Dual Tips Alcohol Markers, I was excited to see what the company had to offer and how I could incorporate them into my projects. A short time later, a heavy box was delivered to my front door and I curiously opened the box. Inside was a black carrying case filled with three hundred and twenty markers in a dizzying variety of colors and hues.
These alcohol-based ink markers are well-designed with a fine tip (3mm) and broad tip (1-6mm) and color coded caps that make finding your desired color quite easy. The inks apply easily, blend beautifully and dry quickly.
Included with the markers is a pre-printed color guide and a set of four color swatches that you fill in yourself to familiarize yourself with the markers and make finding your color of choice a lot simpler.
Also included is a thin plastic pad to protect your projects against bleed through.
While projects on paper or canvas are the most obvious choices, I’ll be experimenting with my Ohuhu Alcohol-based Markers on polymer clay and other applications. I’ll share those with you in the coming weeks. In the meantime, share your Ohuhu Alcohol-based Marker projects and I’ll feature them here on When Creativity Knocks.
