Open the pages of Craft Your Stash and find inside the inspiration you need to pull out your crafting supplies and get busy! The book begins with good advice and tips on how to organize your supplies – something almost all of us bit with the creative bug could definitely use! The more you know about what you have in your creative “stash” the better able you are to choose new goodies you just have to add to it when out shopping. Design basics like color, balance are texture are discussed, along with full color photos of projects you can find tutorials for on Lisa Fulmer’s website. Then she shares a good variety of crafting projects using materials most of us probably already have in our studios. Paper crafts, home decor, and jewelry projects feature stepped out instructions, color photos, and even templates for some projects. What I personally like about Lisa’s designs is that she always incorporates a little extra “something” in her projects – whether it be a bit of hand stitching or a special charm, and that her projects are often useful projects that can be shared as gifts. Craft Your Stash would be a useful addition to your creative library. It will inspire you to get organized, then use those supplies you have been saving in your stash to create something new! – Cindi Bisson
