Author Kimberly Mueller guides the reader through 13 Mod Podge® products in this 40 page paperback book. Each includes a supply list, basic instructions, and color photos of the finished project. The projects are primarily home-decor, but there are also a couple of basic jewelry projects included. Each is rated with a difficulty level ranging from beginner to advanced, although even the advanced projects could be re-created by new crafters, they just require a few more steps. While I’ve seen many of the applications she shares before, I did enjoy her twist on staining glass pieces to create an ombre effect, and her use of vintage maps on tiles to create interesting coasters.
I think many of the ideas shown in Modern Mod Podge® would translate well to use in school classrooms as student projects, and having her instructions from the book would guide the instructor easily through teaching the project. - Cindi Bisson
