Valentine HeadbandI love Valentine’s Day!  It gives me an excuse to make super cute, super pink crafts!  I wanted to make my daughter something special for Valentine’s Day this year.  She loves to wear hair accessories, so a special headband was order.  She can hardly wait to wear it to school on February 14.

Supplies:

  • Store bought, red headband
  • Red craft felt
  • White craft felt
  • Pink craft felt
  • Green craft felt
  • Embroidery Floss and thread
  • Craft glue
  • Acrylic rhinestones

HeadbandDirections:

  1. Cut 3” x 3” hearts from the pink (cut 1) and white felts (cut 1).
  2. Cut (1) 2.5” x 2.5” heart from the white felt.
  3. Attach the small, white heart onto the pink heart using red embroidery floss and a chain stitch.
  4. Apply glue to the back of the pink heart, to one side of the large white heart, and to the side of the headband.
  5. Carefully lay the pink heart onto the side of the headband and press down.  Glue the white heart to the back of the pink heart, with the headband running between the two hearts.
  6. Cut petals and leaves from the pink and green felts.  Glue onto the center of the white felt.
  7. Glue rhinestones into the center of your flower and add as embellishments to the white heart.
