23 JUL 2010, Phoenix, AZ – Dies Direct™, a division of PMA Photometals, Inc., will be launching two new patent-pending universal thin metal die products for paper craft industry resellers at the CHA Trade Show and Convention July 27-29, and will be announcing a licensing deal that is sure to thrill the paper arts community.

Stacker Nesting Dies and XL Embossing Plates

Stackers Nesting Dies and XL Embossing plates are the first two new Dies Direct™ products. Stacker dies will be interchangeable with 10 other basic designs for several combinations of frames or used as individual die cutting plates. One die plate is “stacked” onto another plate to create frames. The Stackers Dies are full-body dies that offer exceptional value and are sold in “suitcases” of six different die sizes.

The all metal XL Embossing plates are up to 6” x 8” formats with deeply etched embossing patterns for Stackers plates or smaller embossing applications. The first release offers 22 unique embossing patterns along with inexpensive embossing pad kits.

Ultimate Dimensional Dies

Ultimate Dimensional dies will be released at the Summer CHA Show as well. The new patent pending process offers full graphic embellishments with a die cutting capability on the same metal plate. Dies Direct™ will be offering this product as well as custom shaped die cutting plates to the rubber stamp industry as a means of easily cutting out the most complicated of rubber stamp images. Using a new and exclusive alignment guide, the new concept is expected to attract paper crafters to rubber stamp imaging without the use of scissors or punches.

VeggieTales® Announcement

Lastly, Dies Direct™ is excited to announce its approval for licensing by Big Idea Entertainment for the popular and venerable VeggieTales® characters. Dies Direct™ will develop metal dies and related Scrapbooking products that will be released in Fall 2010.
