Valentine’s Day is Thursday and you still haven’t found a unique gift? My “LOVE” Pallet Plaque is a charming and inexpensive project to convey your feelings to your special someone.

Project Materials

Instructions

Paint each of the Pallet Plaque panels with the Apple Barrel and FolkArt paints – one White, one Bright Pink, one Fuchsia and one Flag Red. Let dry.

Place each letter stencil on white-painted surface, aligning with a pre-drawn pencil line if desired. Secure with painter’s tape if desired.

Apply a small amount of Flag Red paint in paint palette and dab Stencil Brush in paint. (I chose to reverse the color order of paints for the stencils) If you think you have too much paint on Stencil brush, dab some off on a dry area of pallet.

Dab paint over stencil until desired coverage is obtained. (The design of the stencils I used allowed me to continue stenciling but you may have to allow your stenciled letter to dry to avoid smearing.)

Dap Heart Rubberstamp in paint colors of your choice and stamp heart on plaque.

Repeat the process for all four panels on your Pallet Plaque. (I cleaned up smudges and mistakes.)

Attach red cord to back of Plaque with staples and hang in your special someone’s line of sight.
