A friend of mine is celebrating her birthday this weekend and I wanted to do something more personal than a store-bought card. Maker’s Movement and Crafter’s Edge came to the rescue. With their interchangeable Stamp + Die Sets and Crossover II Fabric & Paper Cutting System, I created my Bunny & Balloons Birthday Card in no time.
- Maker’s Movement
- Crafter’s Edge
- Coordinating Card Stock and Scrapbook Paper
- Solid and Patterned
- Paper Cutter/Scorer
- Permanent Ink Pad
- Tape Dot Runner
Cut grey card stock to 10” x 6-1/2”. Score at 5” to create fold. Set aside.
Die cut craft foam using Versa Die to create dimensional rectangles. Remove largest frame from cut foam.
Using largest foam rectangle as a template, cut coordinating scrapbook paper to fit.
Remove backing from one side of foam rectangle and adhere to back of cut scrapbook paper.
Using dies from Some Bunny Loves You set, die cut bunny from grey scrapbook paper.
Die cut three balloons from yellow, red and orange scrapbook papers. (And yes, you can die cut all three papers in one pass!)
Using clear stamp from same set, stamp image of bunny on paper bunny.
Attach bunny and balloons to scrapbook paper using tape dot runner.
Remove backing from foam rectangle. Adhere to grey card.
